Hunter Battle has been a licensed New Mexico Real Estate Broker since September of 2017.  He is employed as an associate broker with United Country Northern NM Real Estate located in beautiful Chama NM.  Hunter previously worked as an orthopedic medical sales reresentative for Smith and Nephew and Stryker for nearly eighteen years covering Los Angeles, Washington DC and Austin TX.

Hunter, a native Texan, grew up visting New Mexico with his family at their vacation home where he fished, hunted, skied and learned about the amazing New Mexico culture.  He is now a full time resident living in the Ponderosa subdivision located on the mountain just south of Chama NM and owns Chama River property, hear Heron Lake.  Hunter has emersed himself working real estate across Northern NM representing horse properties, farmland, ranchland, river and lake properties, as well as, vacant land and cabins.  He is very familiar with the Chama area, including Tierra Amarilla, Ensenada, Los Ojos and both Heron and El Vado Lakes.  The Ponderosa Subdivision is his backyard so he is very knowledgeable about the in's and out's of water, power, access and much more.  With the Brazos area being such a hot spot for vacation and retirement homes, Hunter has expanded his reach up highway 512 as well.  

Hunter's primary focus is Northern New Mexico but he is licensed in the entire state of New Mexico and he is willing to serve buyers and sellers alike across the state, including Santa Fe, Taos, Red River and the Angel Fire areas.

Hunter's interests include fly fishing, hunting, hiking, skiing, and most outdoor mountain activities.  He loves to cook and spend time with his beloved dogs:  Leo, his bulldog and Reich, his rottweiler.  His greatest passions are his family and friends and he enjoys planning activities for them all to enjoy together.
